We're always looking for new member to join FPJ. We can accept new teammates that want to join an existing squad (Rowan, Lexington or Pike) or who want to start their own squad from a different area. Either way there are a few ways to begin the journey of joining this excellent team.
- First, email us, and let us know that you are considering joining the team.
- Second, come to a local game, and play with the team and the walk on players that are there for the day. Introduce yourself to the organizer for the day and indicate that you are here to play and have fun, but also have the intention of joining the team. This will allow us to evaluate your ability, and your sportsmanship.
- Third, after the open play date email the team CO, and let him know that you officially want to become a member.
- Fourth, the team CO will add you to the roster, and you will begin your probationary status (6 months) with the team. During this time you need to be an active participant, and continue to learn about the sport and the team in addition to attending as many scenarios, OP4 events, and local games as possible.
- Fifth, at the next team meetings nearest your 6 months of probation, the team will vote, and you must receive a vote of confidence from 75% of all members present.
After becoming a full member you need to continue to be an active member of the team. This includes attending meetings, local games, OP4 events, scenarios, and pay dues. More information about membership will be given to you once you join.
